Churches, groups, and individuals please join us as we place God's Word into the hands of US Troopers across the globe.

The objective of Light the World is to provide the Military Edition of the Gospel of John or the New Testament in a new synthetic weatherproof Bible format called THE OUTDOOR BIBLE® to US military Chaplains for distribution to Troopers. Troops, stationed in some of the most remote locations in the world, often face harsh environmental conditions (water, sand, dirt, sweat, etc.). THE OUTDOOR BIBLE®, is not only able to withstand extreme conditions, but it is also lightweight and highly portable.
Here is what Chaplains are telling us:
• Our troop "operates from both land and sea in arduous conditions that would stress an ordinary paperback Bible." - US Navy Chaplain

Why should you partner in Light of the World?
Our Troopers have physical combat gear - this is spiritual combat gear!
You will notice from the Project Progress image above that Chaplains have expressed great need for these resources and that we are long ways off from fulfilling their need. Our military Chaplains need your help.

What is the timeline?
We have a backlog of requests from Chaplains. Some of these Chaplains are soon to be deployed with their Troopers, so the need is both constant and urgent at the same time.

How can you partner in Light of the World?
It's easy! Bardin & Marsee Publishing will provide the military edition of the Gospel of John or the New Testament at an extremely reduced rate and will provide free shipping to our Troopers from our location.

There are several different ways you can be a blessing to our Troopers:
    Individuals:
  • Send two copies of the Gospel of John or the New Testament from every member of your family.

    Churches or Groups:
  • Commit to send one Gospel of John or New Testament from every member of your congregation. For example, a congregation of 100 might commit to send 100 copies.
  • Collect a special offering/donation to send the Gospel of John or New Testament.
  • As a project for the entire church family, designate special locations where members can write a note of encouragement, gratitude, etc. in the Gospel of John or New Testament to the soldier recipient.
